She thought SDF it was too good to be true in 2015 when she overheard a lunch line conversation at the ISDA annual session. She began reading up on this and the more she learned the more excited she became. She spoke with various experts across the nation and even interviewed a hygienist in Japan who had been using it regularly. By 2016 she felt comfortable implementing it in her practice. Later that year she delivered her first course on the topic. Since, she has presented on this topic at local and national meetings. Her practice was one of the HRSA subgrant recipients to utilize SDF/Teledentistry to expand access to care in Idaho. She is happy to be here today with her mentors and friends.
